The release of yesterday’s short film got me thinking about this campaign and what it’s all about. It seems a bit much to just keep the franchise’s ball in the air. Is it possible they’re market testing for a series; seeing what the return viewing numbers are like each week? By not giving them much of a story, it shows the viability of the brand itself.
With that said, do you think the 2 final Alien shorts this coming week will connect all the others somehow? Maybe explain how all the eggs got there? It would turn the whole campaign into a single story and certainly worth rewatching. Between the shorts and Amanda Ripley's recent Isolation Digital Series, we're definitely getting a glimpse of content to come. Support the ones you like the most by sharing and rewatching!
